Yes, a team be formed taking candidates from different schools and different classes. But a candidate must be associated with only one team.
Only one member from the team should register in the portal. He is considered as the team leader. Team leader will fill the details of the other members and the details of their mentor while registering in the portal.
Firstly, The team leader will register his/her team by providing details of team members and mentors. Then, he/she has to download the registration form for idea submission. Provide all the details of your idea in registration form and upload it in the portal. After successful uploading of registration form, the registration as well as idea submission gets completed.
Anyone can be a mentor who can guide you in idea generation and submission. A mentor can be your class teacher, guardian, parents etc. However, your class teacher is preferred to be the mentor of your group.
In step 1(Ideathon I) and step 2 (Ideathon II), the mode of presentation will be in hybrid mode. A team can opt for online mode of presentation or they can visit KIIT campus for offline mode of presentation. But in step 3 (Ideathon III), the mode of presentation will be offline which is going to be taken place in KIIT campus.
Travelling allowance in 3rd class AC will be provided in stage 3 only. Lodging facility can be also provided in KIIT hostel at minimal rate. But no travelling allowance and lodging facility will be provided in stage 1 and 2.
In Ideathon I, a team can provide idea/solution for any problem statement. A team is free to choose any problem and solution for this problem. But the problem statement must adhere to any of the given themes provided in portal. But, in Ideathon II, 5 nos. of problem statements will be fixed. A team has to register in Ideathon II and has to submit idea/solution to any of these 5 problem statement.
All the teams must freshly register in Ideathon II.
No. A team can’t freshly register in this stage. Ideathon III is a prototype development and presentation stage. Those who are qualified in Ideathon II can move to Ideathon III stage. They are supposed to convert their ideas in Ideathon II to a working model (prototype) in Ideathon III.
All the team leaders must join a whatsapp group after registration in the ideathon portal. The queries can be addressed through that whatsapp group.
